The Brunton Polaris is the first LED lantern in the world to have a “natural light” instead of the typical glaring, white LED we’re used to. It also gives you 360 degrees of light with no dead spots. The 3-watt Cree LED emits a warm orange glow similar to a propane lantern with mantle, and you can switch between high and low output. A nonslip rubberized housing provides a sure grip and a durable aluminum clip allows the lantern to be hung inside a tent or from a tree branch. It’s powered by three C-size batteries.
