Coleman 17- by 9-Foot 6- to 8-Person Screened Weathermaster Elite Tent
The Coleman Screened Weathermaster Elite tent lets you set up camp your way. At 17′ x 9′ with a 6′4″ center height, this tent sleeps 6-8 people comfortably in its 136 square feet of floor space. Removable hanging dividers give you options: use them to create two or three separate rooms inside your tent.
Two doors and two windows give you easy access. The Weathermaster Elite’s long-lasting, built-in lighting system offers high and low settings and comes with a remote control, so you’ll easily have light when you need it. Coleman makes setup quick and easy with 19mm shock-corded steel poles, separate storage bags for the poles and stakes, and simple instructions sewn right onto the storage bag, so you always have them handy. The Screened Weathermaster Elite tent features a clever hinged door system that opens and closes easily, or can be zipped into place like a conventional tent door. With leak-free protected seams, weather-resistant fabric, waterproof floors, zipper protection, and wind-strong frame, Coleman’s exclusive Weathertec System is guaranteed to keep you dry, whatever the weather. For improved airflow, the Variflo adjustable venting system and Cool-Air port increase ventilation and provide outside access to your gear. Coleman Screened Weathermaster Elite Tent Review
We are extremely pleased with quality of our family tent. The build in electric light is wonderful, but almost too bright. The tent was easy to set up with color coded poles. While the spring action door was a neat trick, we preferred entering through the screen porch. The screen porch was a lifesaver due to the flies at El Prado Campground in San Diego County. My only complaint, and deserves losing a star over is the screen porch. It has no floor. We relied on a tarp to make up for the lack of flooring, but that still left a gap at the bottom of the screen. So, before our next camp out, I’m going to sew in a proper floor.
