Eureka Pinnacle Pass 2XTA dome-style tent, 7-Foot by 5-Foot Two-Person Backpacking Tent from Eureka, comfortably sleeps two campers. It includes a lightweight aluminum frame and two built-in fully covered vestibules for added gear storage (6.7 square feet each). Eureka’s patented High/Low doors vent from the top and/or bottom, providing options for moderating air flow. It’s easy to set up, thanks to the 8.5mm 7000 series aluminum frame, ring and pin assembly, and extended pole pockets.

Eureka Pinnacle Pass 2XTA has two doors, two windows, two mesh roof vents, and a poke-out vent in the sidewall for additional ventilation. The high perimeter seams of bathtub floor combines with factory taped floor seams and fly seams to keep water out. Other features include:

  • Twin-track zippers for separate operation windows in the doors
  • External guy points help secure the tent in high winds
  • Two mesh gear pockets
  • Clothes line loops and flashlight loop
  • Tent, pole, and stake bags included

Eureka Pinnacle Pass 2XTA Performance 7-Foot by 5-Foot Two-Person Backpacking Tent Reviews

Been using this Eureka Pinnacle Pass 2XTA tent for a few months steadily in Glacier National Park. Tent has excellent ventilation and is very roomy. Packs up small and is fairly light. Has held up well in 40-50 mph winds, hail and heavy rain in a thunderstorm with several additional guy lines attached, but also leaked slightly through the seams of the vestibule. Just a warning for buyers, waterproof the fly seams (probably should for any tent.) After a couple coats of sealant, tent was completely waterproof. So far a great lightweight tent!
