Spacious enough to comfortably sleep four campers, the Eureka Sunrise 8 dome-style tent is easy to set up and very well ventilated with four large hooded windows and no-see-um mesh panels in the ceiling. It has triple-coated fabrics and a heavy-duty bathtub floor made of 4 ounce 210D oxford polyester that repels water.

The fly is made of Stormshield polyester, which won’t stretch when wet and resists UV breakdown. It has a shockcorded fiberglass frame (two poles) that features a pin and ring as well as combination clip and sleeve system for quick assembly. Other features include:

Eureka Sunrise 8 Adventure Four-Person Tent Review

We had great weather all three days, so can’t rate its performance under the rain, but the tent was pretty big (it fit 3 adults, and one of us had a twin air mattress) and sturdy. All the pockets and storage shelves for our stuff was great and convenient (much bigger than I expected them to be from the pictures!) Having 4 windows made it really comfortable. Two of us assembled the tent in about 10-15 minutes.

The only thing I didn’t like is that it doesn’t have a “D” door, so you have to manage the bottom and side zippers separately instead of being one continuous thing, like most tents nowadays, making it more annoying getting in and out of the tent, but this details is not enough to offset all the other great qualities of it.
