Two different reviews on this purchase. First the product itself, great unit, works well in the car and with an optional converter works great on 110v. Keeps items extremely cold in the hotel rooms and very cold on 12v. Used ours on a 2 week trip to Florida. Very happy with this product although definately overpriced. I had one a few years back, virtually identical and about a third the price.

Sedond review was the way the item was shipped. The seller sent it exactly as the manufacturer packages it, simply in a cardboard box. It arrived with a small 1″ x 1″ dent in one corner. Upon inspection the plactic corner of the unit was cracked and broken, extremely brittle plastic! The manufacturer should have this unit encased in a styrofoam packing at the very least! The seller promptly sent me a replacement unit and it arrived safely and without damage. The seller was pleasant and would buy from them again, I’d give the manufacturer a 1 star for packing procedures!
