I used this in the bottom of my big cooler with smaller ones randomly packed in as well. It worked very well and allowed me to put more items in the cooler until I got to the camp ground and was able to purchase ice. After one full day of travel, it was still partially frozen. I also like it because everything doesn’t get wet like it does with ice.
